Bean Bag Bohemia (Closed Permanently)

(2 Ratings)
Makes great dining an artistic event
Opened in 1995 in a Victorian-era mercantile, this California-cuisine outpost is world-famous for its casual ambiance, careful cooking and faded-rose fabulousness. Popular with visiting production companies, musicians and other creative types. A la carte dining; dinner entrees about $13. Open lunch and dinner. Brand new in November 2009 is the upstairs Yum Cha Cha dim-sum bar. If you close down the bar but haven't had enough, the owners offer accommodation at La Bordello next door.

Not for the average traveler.

Go with an open mind. Great vibe at night. Locals frequent the bar & restaurant. Different type of atmosphere. Easy to find.
